The Councils meet regularly. A livestream is available for you to watch proceedings. Meetings are open to the public. If you plan to attend in-person, please contact Alice Couto, Executive Assistant, acouto@cvo.org. Meeting agendas are posted in advance; however, the agenda is subject to change.

Past Council Meetings
Meeting minutes are published following Council approval. A summary of Council decisions is published shortly after each meeting. The College also provides replays from various portions of the agenda.
Councils met in March 2026
The Legacy Council continued its work on antimicrobial stewardship, and revisions to its accreditation standards. The Transition Council began working on policy document for the College of Veterinary Professionals of Ontario adn looked at licensure pathways, the nominations and election process, and the discipline tribunal. Replays are available.
March 16, 2026 Legacy Council Meeting
During the transition period, the Legacy Council continues to oversee the operations of the College and tends to matters under the Veterinarians Act. Replays and highlights from the March meeting will be posted soon.
