National Trends in Veterinary Complaints and Regulatory Decisions

An overview of the veterinary regulatory process and a summary of complaints data from 2019 to 2023, prepared in partnership with the Canadian Council of Veterinary Registrars.

In 2019, working collaboratively with ACER Consulting, the Canadian Council of Veterinary Registrars (CCVR) began to summarize complaint data across jurisdictions to identify emerging trends and priorities related to risks in practice, and the regulatory decisions made related to key complaint risk categories at a national level.
