Member Services & Inquiries

To assist CVO members to meet the regulatory requirements a number of member services are offered. CVO staff welcomes the calls of members to clarify or query information or to interpret legislation.

 CVO Staff Directory

The Advertising Coordinator will review advertising copy and discuss advertising and marketing plans with practices prior to use.

 CVO Advertising Guidelines 

The Registration Coordinator makes the CVO examination available at a time suitable to the applicant. A registration package has been developed that includes information and contacts for applicants.

The Accreditation Coordinator has developed "New Practice Kits" and incorporation packages. There are also numerous forms available on the CVO Forms page.

CVO publishes a member directory and practice listing. This information is also provided on this website in a searchable format.

  Registered Members and Veterinary Practices.

CVO uses a newsletter, Update, published four times annually, INFO SHEETS, member meetings, this website and an electronic newsletter to communicate with members.

CVO staff routinely assist with communication problems between veterinarians and between veterinarians and their clients. Problems can often by resolved in this way.

CVO has established policies to facilitate special services such as rabies, eye, heart and deafness clinics.

  Rabies & Other Programs

CVO has established policies to assist members with such things as the transfer of medical records; dealing with abandoned animals; confidentiality, and termination of a veterinarian client relationship.
