INSTRUCTIONS for the CPD OnLine Learning Module

Introduction:  This learning module has been designed to help Ontario veterinarians begin to use the CPD Cycle tools efficiently and effectively for their own professional development purposes.  The module defines CPD, reviews the 3 steps of the Cycle, demonstrates the use of the CPD Tools developed for veterinarians use, and provides references and resources that further explain various aspects of the Cycle.

Technical specifications: Your computer must have Adobe Flash Player software in order for you to access this learning module. If you do not have this software on your computer, you may download it for free at http://get.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ . For Macintosh users, please view the modules through Safari or Netscape browsers.

Viewing Controls: This learning module includes a visual component with animated slides, and an audio component, which you may turn off if you so choose by adjusting the volume icon at the bottom of your screen. The speech is also written out as Notes, which are provided on the right-hand side of your screen.  This is the view that should open for you when you launch the module. 
To move slides backwards or forwards, click on the arrows at the bottom left of the screen:

Self-directed learning: Participation in this Learning Module is self-directed and anonymous. The CVO does not keep a record of your participation in the module, though you should count it as an activity in your CPD Log and
